Japanese Tea Ceremony 25. January

We have the pleasure of collaborating with Yasuko Oki on this introduction to the Japanese Tea Ceremony, Chanoyu. Yausuko is registered as an instructor at Omotesenke School in Kyoto, Japan.

In this 2,5-hour class, you’ll learn about the history and culture of Chanoyu and matcha, you’ll get a demonstration of the tea ceremony and get to practice how to prepare and serve matcha the ceremonial way. The price includes rental of all the utensils needed for the ceremony, in addition to a bowl of matcha and a Japanese Sweet traditionally served with the tea. All participants will also get a 15% discount on tea after the class.
